Is the Fun Buddy Icons
product compatible with my IM service/client?
AIM
FunBuddyIcons is compatible
with AIM for Windows (version 5.9.3690 or higher). It is not compatible with AIM Express, AOL
Communicator or AOL BuddyList (AIM launched within AOL's built-in
browser). It also does not work with enhancement software like Dead
AIM.
Using a non-compatible AIM version?
Download AIM for Windows (Your buddy list will carry
over automatically!)
Yahoo! Messenger
FunBuddyIcons is compatible
with Yahoo! Messenger for Windows (version 6.0 or higher). It is not compatible with Yahoo!
Web Messenger. It also does not work with enhancement software like
Y!TunnelPro.

(Your IM list will carry over automatically!)
MSN Messenger
FunBuddyIcons is compatible
with
MSN Messenger 6.0 and higher, and Windows Messenger.
It
is not compatible with MSN Messenger for Windows Mobile-based Pocket
PC/Smartphone. It also does not work with enhancement
software like Extreme
Messenger.

300 Fun Buddy Icons for free? What's the catch?
Actually, there isn't one. We do understand, however, why you may be
skeptical and think Fun Buddy Icons are just too good to be true.
Especially considering all the rather unbelievable offers floating
around the Internet. So let us put your mind at ease and explain how
we make money - without charging you a cent.
When you download Fun Buddy Icons, you get a Buddy Icons button installed
on your browser and on your Messenger client. This is how you change
your IM buddy icon - by clicking on the
Fun Buddy Icons button. As you've no doubt already noticed,
you also get other great benefits, including a browser search tool
that is powered by the Internet's leading search engines. When you
search the Web via your browser search tool and click on any of the
highly relevant sponsored search listings, we make money. It's as
easy as that.
For that reason, we encourage you to do all your Internet searches
using your browser search tool. It's convenient (because it's on your
browser, you can search from anywhere), and you simply won't find a

Adding Buddy Icons to Your Messenger Client
How do I add or
change my Buddy Icon?
To add or change your current Messenger client's buddy icon, click the Fun
Buddy Icons button located in the top-right corner of the Windows
client version of your AIM, MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger. Choose the
buddy icon you would like to use from the
menu.
AIM users:
After clicking on an image within your Fun Buddy Icons application, you may
be asked to confirm that
you want to change your icon. Once you do, your new buddy icon will
appear.
IMPORTANT: If your IM buddy does not yet have
Fun Buddy Icons, he/she will not initially see your buddy icon. Instead,
your buddy will receive a message and a link to Fun Buddy Icons within
his/her messenger window in order that your buddy may download the product and
see the icon you selected.

I don't see Fun Buddy Icons on my browser. What do I do?
If you have downloaded Fun Buddy Icons and are not seeing the Fun
Buddy Icons button on your browser or IM window, it is likely due to one of two
scenarios:
1) You did not close all your open browsers and IM windows once you downloaded
Fun Buddy Icons. Please do this now and then reopen a new window. You
should then see something like this on your browser:
2) Prior to
installing Fun Buddy Icons, you already had several buttons on your
"Standard Buttons" browser bar. If this is the case, your
Fun Buddy Icons button can be found by clicking the ">>" button located
in the upper-right corner of your browser. See below:

Can I move the Fun
Buddy Icons window off my
browser/IM window and around my screen?
Yes - to move Fun Buddy Icons around your
screen, click on the title bar that runs across the top of your
Fun Buddy Icons window. Then just drag the window anywhere you want on your
computer screen. The window will remain open until you close it.

What are these
other features on my browser for?
Fun Buddy Icons come with a number of free Fun Web Products. These
include one-click access to Smiley Central and Popular Screensavers, as well as a
search box which provides you with results from your favorite search engines (Google,
Yahoo!, Ask Jeeves and LookSmart).
Please note: Your browser's Fun Web Products include NO spyware and NO adware, and
are 100% FREE.
Outlook, Outlook Express, AOL Mail
9.0, MSN ISP Email and IncrediMail users: In
addition to the browser features installed on Internet Explorer (see
above), you also have a navigation bar integrated into your email
system. You will see it at the top of any Compose/New Mail window.
This toolbar, too, provides you with access to a number of Fun Web
Products, plus a search box powered by the Internet's leading
search providers, including Google.

Is Fun
Buddy Icons - or the added browser features that come with it like Search
- considered spyware?
NO! The Fun Buddy Icons application does not collect any
personal information and is completely “spyware”-free and “adware”-free.
Period.
Our browser enhancements were specifically designed
to provide a great user experience free of spyware, adware, direct
marketing, data collection or other similar activities. In order to
achieve that goal:

The browser
software DOES NOT collect
personal information of any kind, period. No email address,
registration or other information is required to use the product.
No zip code, no email, no member name, no password. Unlike many
other products, we do not even attempt to collect data upon startup
as a requirement of use.

The browser software DOES NOT monitor
the websites visited by the end user, collect or in any manner
report any information about what sites an end users visits (or any
clickstream activity), nor does it monitor or scrape information
when you are on other sites.

The browser
software DOES NOT serve or facilitate
so-called "contextual advertising" where pop-up ads are served
based on the sites you visit. Many applications are identified as
spyware because they monitor end-user Internet usage and serve
contextual pop-ups. Our browser software does not engage in any
such practices.
In short, Fun Buddy Icons and its browser
enhancements provide a
superior search experience on an ANONYMOUS basis and without any
additional monitoring, contextual ads or other nuisances.
